Royal Mail Delivery HGV

From today, the cost to send letters in the UK is increasing.

The price of a 1st class stamp is now 67p, and the price of a 2nd class stamp is 58p – a rise of 2p on both.

Royal Mail appreciate that companies and households are struggling in the current economic climate, and – as always – “have considered any pricing changes very carefully and in doing so have sought to minimise any impact on our customers.”

It is claimed that these price increases are necessary to help ensure the sustainability of the Universal Postal Service.

The price of stamps in the UK last increased a year ago on 27th March, 2018.
